Description

The Apple Mac mini M6 is a compact desktop computer built for users who want strong performance without taking up much desk space. Its Apple M6 chip combines a 12-core CPU and 12-core GPU with dedicated Neural Accelerators and a dual 16-core Neural Engine, helping it handle demanding applications, multitasking and AI workloads efficiently.

With 16GB of unified memory and a 256GB SSD, the Mac mini provides responsive performance for productivity, office applications, content creation, browsing and everyday desktop use. Apple silicon also allows the CPU, GPU and other processing components to work efficiently with shared memory, making the system well suited to modern applications and AI-assisted workflows.

Connectivity is another strong point. The Mac mini M6 has ports on both the front and rear, making it easier to connect everyday accessories while keeping permanent connections at the back of the desktop. Three Thunderbolt 4 ports support high-speed data transfer, USB 4 and DisplayPort, while HDMI provides another convenient display connection.

Features

Apple M6 Desktop Performance
The M6 chip is designed to make everyday tasks feel responsive while providing additional processing capability for demanding workloads. Its 12-core CPU combines performance and efficiency cores, while the 12-core GPU includes Neural Accelerators and hardware-accelerated ray tracing.

The dual 16-core Neural Engine is designed to accelerate supported AI workloads, making the Mac mini a capable platform for applications that use machine learning and Apple Intelligence.

Key processing details include:

• Apple M6 chip
• 12-core CPU with 2 super cores, 4 performance cores and 6 efficiency cores
• 12-core GPU with Neural Accelerators

• Dual 16-core Neural Engine
• Up to 153GB/s memory bandwidth

16GB Unified Memory and 256GB SSD
This configuration combines 16GB of unified memory with a 256GB SSD. Unified memory allows the M6 chip to efficiently share memory between the CPU, GPU and other processing functions, helping maintain responsive performance when working across multiple applications.

The 256GB SSD provides fast access to applications, documents and other files, while the compact desktop design makes the Mac mini easy to position beneath a monitor or in a space-constrained workstation.

Thunderbolt 4, USB-C and HDMI Connectivity
The Apple Mac mini M6 provides a useful selection of high-speed ports across the front and rear of the system.

Front ports:

• Two USB-C ports supporting USB 3 at up to 10Gb/s
• 3.5 mm headphone jack

Rear ports:

• Three Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports supporting Thunderbolt 4 up to 40Gb/s
• USB 4 up to 40Gb/s
• DisplayPort
• HDMI port
• 2.5Gb Ethernet port, configurable to 10Gb Ethernet

The system supports up to three external displays, making it suitable for multi-monitor workstations and productivity setups.

Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6
The Mac mini M6 uses the Apple N1 wireless networking chip for modern wireless connectivity. Wi-Fi 7 provides fast wireless networking with compatible equipment, while Bluetooth 6 supports compatible keyboards, mice, headphones and other accessories. Thread networking technology is also included.

For users who prefer a wired connection, the 2.5Gb Ethernet port provides high-speed network connectivity and can be configured to support 10Gb Ethernet.

macOS and Apple Intelligence
macOS provides the software platform for the Mac mini, with support for a broad range of productivity, creative and professional applications. Apple Intelligence is integrated into supported everyday experiences, while Siri provides an AI-assisted interface for compatible tasks.

Features such as window tiling and Sidecar can also help users organise their workspace and work more efficiently across Apple devices.

Works With Your Other Apple Devices
The Mac mini M6 integrates closely with the wider Apple ecosystem. iPhone Mirroring allows compatible iPhone content and interactions to be accessed from the Mac, while features such as copy and paste between Apple devices make it easier to move information between a Mac and iPhone.

Compact 5 x 5-Inch Desktop Design
Despite its desktop-class capabilities, the Mac mini has a compact footprint of just 127 mm wide and 127 mm deep. At 50 mm high, it can fit neatly beneath a monitor or into a small workstation.

Dimensions and weight:

• Height: 50 mm
