IP2840

Overview:

This compact printer delivers affordable, high quality printing thanks to Canon’s FINE technology and optional XL ink cartridges. With USB connectivity it's a perfect personal desktop printer.

Features:

Affordable home printer
An easy-to-use and affordable home printer with two ink cartridges ideal for printing everyday documents and occasional photos. Simple USB connectivity and compact design make it ideally suited for a personal desk printer.

Quality prints
Print high-quality documents and images with impressive levels of detail, thanks to Canon’s FINE technology and hybrid ink system. The colour cartridge uses dye-based inks for vivid colour printing, while the black cartridge contains pigment ink for crisp, sharp text.

Save money on ink
Print more for less. XL cartridges deliver significantly more pages and last longer between ink replacements – ideal if you print frequently - and can deliver up to 30% savings per page compared to their standard equivalents.

My Image Garden
My image Garden makes it easy to organise and print your photos. Advanced features like face recognition let you search through all the images on your PC, even those long forgotten, and use them to create attractive new designs for printing.

Smart Web printing
The Auto Clip function of the Easy-WebPrint EX plug-in for Internet Explorer makes it simple to print only what you need from the web. Clip selected information from multiple web pages and print on a single page to save paper.

Save energy
Auto Power Off automatically switches the printer off if not used for a set time – saving you energy. Auto Power On conveniently turns the printer back on when you start printing. Quiet mode can significantly reduce operating noise for near silent printing at home.
