The inclusion of AI-powered noise cancellation ensures your voice is heard clearly by teammates, while the retractable microphone design offers ultimate portability when not in use.

Features

Audio Performance and Immersion
The Nova 5 is engineered to provide a competitive edge through precise audio profiling. The system supports 360-degree spatial audio, compatible with Tempest 3D Audio on PS5, Microsoft Spatial Sound, and Sonar Virtual Surround Sound for Windows. This technology creates a full auditory perimeter, giving you situational awareness by letting you hear sounds coming from every direction. Custom presets developed in cooperation with game developers and esports professionals allow you to optimize settings for specific titles, ensuring you never miss a crucial sound cue.

A key advantage of this headset is the ability to maintain separate EQ profiles for different use cases. You can save one profile optimized for 2.4GHz wireless gaming and another specifically tailored for Bluetooth audio streaming on mobile devices or media consumption. The system automatically switches between these saved settings when you toggle modes, ensuring your audio remains perfect regardless of how you connect.

Connectivity and Battery Life
Say goodbye to cable tangles with the included compact USB-C wireless dongle that supports a wide range of platforms including PC, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, Chromebook, Meta Quest, and various handhelds. The headset utilizes a high-speed 2.4GHz connection for lag-free gameplay while simultaneously maintaining a standby Bluetooth 5.3 link for mobile devices. When a call comes in on your phone, the Nova 5 notifies you through the headset, allowing you to answer instantly by pressing the Quick-Switch button without disconnecting from your game.

Powering this extensive functionality is an impressive battery system that lasts significantly longer than standard gaming headsets. With up to 60 hours of playtime on Bluetooth or 50 hours in wireless mode, you can game all week on a single charge. If power does run low, the USB-C fast charging capability provides six hours of gameplay from just a fifteen-minute charge, ensuring your sessions are never interrupted by a dead battery.

Mic Quality and Comfort
Clean communication is vital for team play, which is why the Nova 5 features the ClearCast Gen 2 microphone. This next-gen boom mic offers double the bandwidth of previous generations with support for 32KHz/16Bit audio resolution. On PC users can further enhance their voice clarity using Sonar AI-Powered Noise Cancellation, which actively filters out background noise from jet planes, hair dryers, or room echoes to ensure your team hears only your commands.

The headset is designed for long gaming marathons with a lightweight build weighing just 265 grams. The microphone can be completely retracted into the ear cup when not in use, providing an elegant look and added comfort for solo listening sessions or travel. Physical controls located on the ear cups allow you to adjust volume, mute the mic, toggle RGB lighting, and switch wireless modes instantly without pausing your gameplay.
