Features

Precision Audio Technology
Immerse yourself in every game with a soundscape that rivals high-fidelity speakers. The custom-designed Neodymium Magnetic Drivers provide pinpoint accuracy across the frequency spectrum, ensuring you never miss a subtle audio cue. For those seeking total situational awareness, the headset supports 360-degree spatial audio through Sonar Virtual Surround Sound on Windows and is fully compatible with Tempest 3D Audio for PS5 . You can unlock over 100 sound presets tailored specifically for popular titles to enhance your competitive edge or dive deeper into immersive narratives created by developers themselves.

To keep you in the action without interruption, the Arctis Nova 5 boasts an industry-leading battery life that lasts up to five times longer than competing headsets. You can expect a full charge to sustain eight hours of daily play for a complete week on the go. When power runs low, the USB-C fast charging capability delivers six hours of gameplay from just fifteen minutes of charging time. The headset also supports simultaneous wireless connections, allowing you to switch between 2.4GHz gaming audio and Bluetooth 5.3 media streams with a single tap, ensuring your game EQs remain untouched while you take calls or listen to music.

Clean Communication and Comfort
Clear communication is vital for team success, which is why the Nova 5 features the next-generation ClearCast Gen 2 microphone. This directional boom mic supports high-bandwidth audio at 32KHz/16Bit and utilizes Sonar AI-powered noise cancellation to filter out background distractions like jet engines or hair dryers. For moments when you want to enjoy music solo or travel without a cable, the mic fully retracts for an elegant, lightweight profile weighing only 265 grams.

The headset is designed with on-ear controls that let you manage your experience instantly. A dedicated power button, mute switch, and volume dial are located at your fingertips, along with an RGB lighting toggle and the Quick-Switch button for rapid connection changes. The lightweight design ensures all-day comfort, while the ability to save separate EQ profiles means you can optimize settings for competitive gaming on 2.4GHz or casual listening on Bluetooth without manual adjustments.

FAQ

Is this headset compatible with my PC, console, or mobile device?
The SteelSeries Arctis Nova 5 supports cross-platform gaming on PC, PlayStation, Switch, Chromebook, Meta Quest, handhelds, and USB-C phones or tablets via a compact dongle. It also features Bluetooth 5.3 for connecting to mobile devices.

Can I use different audio presets for gaming versus my phone?
Yes, the Arctis Companion App allows you to save separate EQ profiles for both your high-speed 2.4GHz gaming connection and your Bluetooth audio, switching automatically when needed.

How long does the battery last on a single charge?
You can enjoy up to 60 hours of playtime in Bluetooth mode or around 50 hours using the 2.4GHz wireless connection. If you need a quick top-up, a 15-minute fast charge provides 6 hours of gameplay.

Does the microphone work when it is retracted?
The ClearCast 2.X microphone picks up sound while retracted, but for best quality, it should be extended close to your mouth since it is directional. On PC, you can also use Sonar AI-powered noise cancellation to filter out background sounds like jet planes or hair dryers.

Can I listen to game audio and phone notifications at the same time?
The headset supports simultaneous connections for both 2.4GHz and Bluetooth, but only one audio stream plays at a time. When you receive a call on your phone while gaming, you will hear a notification; pressing the Quick-Switch button lets you answer immediately, with the device auto-switching back to game audio once the call ends.
