Reviews about WDBACA0010BBKEE Western Digital TV Live Hub 1.0TB Media Center
There are 2 reviews. ★★★★★Gerald2012-10-16 12:44:19 This is an excellent media player. Western Digital must be paying major fees to license services left, right and centre. I love the free services, free games and the media player is excellent. No choppy video playback and the quality is amazing. I use the Optical audio playback for Hi-Def movies and it is simply wow. The firmware updates monthly with new features and new applications. It is a shame South African bandwidth is so expensive because the video streaming service is fantastic. I recommend the Western Digital Live Hub. You cannot beat the value you get out of the player. I rate this 5/5. If you are not sure which media movie box to get, this is the one. ★★★★★Administrator2011-08-29 15:21:50 Is the Western Digital Live compatible with 3TB or 4TB drives? UPGRADE FIRMWARE! It is compatible over the network and with the latest firmware upgrade. Problem: After connecting a drive greater than 2 TB to a WD TV Live Hub Media Center, WD TV Live Plus HD Media Player, or WD TV Live HD Media Player the data on the drive appears to have been damaged and can no longer be accessed by either the WD TV Live product or a computer. Cause: In some older versions of the firmware for these devices, we have found that connecting drives larger than 2 TB can cause corruption to the data, or damage to the partition. Dual drives and network products larger than 2 TB are not affected by this issue and can continue to be used with our WD TV product line, regardless of what firmware is in use. Solution: This issue was resolved in a firmware update for each device. Please make sure to update the firmware of your WD TV product to the versions listed in the table below prior to connecting a drive larger than 2 TB in size.
