The product information and customer reviews remain available for reference. About the Product: Corsair M90 vengeance performance MMo + RTS laser gaming mouse - with 15 intelligently positioned buttons + 9 macro keys, 48Kb on-board memory for up to 6 on-the-go profile, aluminium housing with soft touch surface, metal weighted scroll wheel, Avago ADNS-9500 Laser Stream gaming sensor, black with blue LED, 5700dpi 3.5G laser, 165iPS (Inch Per Sec), 1000hz ultra pooling - USB - retail pack The review: The Corsair M90 has 15 buttons, 5700 DPI sensor, 1000Hz polling rate, and on-the-fly DPI changes and all the performance needed. For high speed gamers the high sensitivity sensor allows quick, accurate movements. When it comes to more subtle movements the lower DPI settings allow for very accurate sweeping motions with final adjustments using sniper mode allowing a quick drop to a very low DPI. At the same time the design of the M90 makes for a very comfortable experience allowing for long term use even in tense situations. With a solid aluminum body underneath it is built for the long haul. The software allows for the creation of 50 profiles of which six can be stored onboard allowing an enthusiast to take their configurations with them without the need to install new software. These profiles can be designed for a million different uses and with the prebuilt profiles provided many games will already have many of the best options already mapped out. It fits into the market segment it was designed for. The product information and customer reviews remain available for reference. About the Product: Cyborg R.A.T 3 Customizable Gaming Mouse 3500DPI The review: When contemplating a new high performance gaming mouse, The Cyborg R.A.T. 3 might not be at the top of lists, but I urge people to look into the R.A.T.3. I was skeptical coming into this due to the in your face design, which appears to be extremely complex and rather uncomfortable, but must admit I was wrong, as it is not only stunning in design, but practical to use both when gaming and when working. While you can adjust the DPI settings to suit your sensitivity requirements there are no physical chassis changes possible, so you are stuck with the weight and shape. About the Product: Cyborg R.A.T 3 Customizable Gaming Mouse 3500DPI The review: Its built like a tank, but moves like its on silk, if you want a decent responsive good looking gaming mouse, for a decent price, then this is for you. Pros: Durable, smooth, responsive, as well as aesthitically pleasing, cheap enough for mainstream gaming. Cons: A bit light but you get used to it, over sensitive on unpacking so you have to adjust to your needs Other reviews and ratings about this product: by Tobias Smit on 2012-10-16 16:55:24 Mo-CSiCoolermaster/ Cm Storm Inferno mouse Category: Mice - wired desktop mouse|Brand: Coolermaster Discontinued Review Coolermaster/ Cm Storm Inferno mouse This product has been discontinued and is no longer available for sale. The product information and customer reviews remain available for reference. About the Product: Coolermaster/ Cm Storm Inferno - Black with octoshade LED tech - 8 adjustable colour led (can be defined by different game profile), twin Doppler laser engine, separated X-Y dpi adjustment up-to 4000dpi, 115iPS, 128k on-board memory support up-to 3 game profile, Advance Storm Macro Pro Key, 11 programmable buttons + Storm Tactics Multiplier (up-to 32x extra button outputs for macros, scripts, rapid fire and other unique commands) - USB - retail pack The review: It should be no surprise that the mouse is very good, decent, sturdy and extremely configurable. The cherry on top is the extremely well developed software application allowing all kinds of configuration. The Storm Inferno mouse has to be one of the most versatile and programmable product I have ever seen. While that might sound great, it's also something that most people don't want. A lot of people want "Plug and Play" not a plethora and gazillion of options fired off at them. For the average to novice gamer, this mouse simply might be a little too overwhelming when we look at the software implementation. On to the physical side, the reality is also that the mouse isn't perfect. If you pick it up with two fingers precisely in the middle then you'll notice that all the weight is located in the back of the mouse, and that feels unbalanced. Next to that you'll probably constantly reposition your fingers on the mouse. Generally a great mouse but obviously not perfect. About the Product: Logitech 910-002489 G300 gaming mouse - with 7x selectable led lights, on-board memory for 3x game profiles, 5.8mp/sec, sculpted ambidextrous shape for either hands, 9x programmable buttons, with 4-way tilt wheel + zoom - USB The review: The highly-programmable G300 retains major staples of gaming mice while lowering the cost of entry by a fair amount. Palm grip gamers with large hands will find it a bit small, but those with claw grips should find the size to be just fine. Also, lefties are finally invited to the party. In practice, it's a pretty standard mouse or a pretty poor gaming mouse, depending on how you choose to see it. I would have loved to tell you this button-packed mouse was a real bargain but, unfortunately, it's not 100% at that standard. Pros: Frequency: 1000 Hz, Low price for a gaming mouse, For left- and right-handed users Cons: I didn't like the mouse's design or shape, LED sensor isn't good enough for gamers as it can't track fast movements, Very light. Even though its target market is the gaming crowd, I could also see office users and content creators being happy with this mouse. They'd be just as inclined to put a few often-used keyboard commands on the programmable buttons. Pros: Comfortable ambidextrous design, Nine programmable buttons, Can store three swappable profiles Cons: Initially buggy software, A bit short measured front to back(relative to its width) Other reviews and ratings about this product: by Tobias Smit on 2012-10-16 15:58:54 by Andrew Van Zyl on 2012-10-16 15:56:09 GM-M6900GIGABYTE M6900 Gaming Series Mouse - Black Category: Gaming mouse / mice|Brand: Gigabyte Discontinued Review GIGABYTE M6900 Gaming Series Mouse - Black This product has been discontinued and is no longer available for sale. The product information and customer reviews remain available for reference. About the Product: GIGABYTE M6900 Gaming Series Mouse - Black, Precision Lens Laser, 6 Button Scroll Wheel, DPI Button, Laser - USB The review: The middle click is arguably somewhat difficult to do. Since the mouse also tends to click both the left and right panning wheel click when I try to middle click. A friend of mine finds it perfect to click, but for me the angle at which I press the middle wheel will make me press all the wheel buttons. But there IS an angle to press the wheel to only click middle click. Pros: It's great, it's wired. Comfy grip! Left/Right panning. Smooth and satisfactory gripped middle wheel scrolling. Simple DPI settings. Surprisingly good value for money. Cons: The laser has a somewhat limited support for different surfaces. Plastic dirt-like gray-white patterns don't work so well on the desk I use, so make sure you have a mouse pad. For the price, the M6900 is a solid offering, and if you're new at competitive gaming, then this is a great place to start. It can provide accurate tracking across a multitude of surfaces. The included software allows you to test the surface tracking quality so you know exactly where to and where not to play your games. The Sniper button is a great feature and auxilliary buttons are placed conveniently but also not exposed to accidental presses. The 3.5mm jack allowing the connection of a headset directly into the keyboard is also a very useful function for some consumers. While horizontal space is an obvious concern, vertical space could also become a factor if you store your keyboard in a sliding tray. Another concern is the apparent lack of games supported by the GamePanel. With only 50 games providing this functionality, support for this impressive feature seems somewhat lacking.
